A category allows you to group your series together in a way that makes sense to you. This same grouping is also displayed for your actions on the My action items page. The category is specific to you, and not visible by other users.
Each workspace you have access to will have a category called “Meetings”, and any meeting you are invited to will go into the “Meetings” category in that workspace by default. When you create your own meeting, you can choose the name of the Category.
Additionally, you can create a new category by moving an existing meeting - refer to the section Moving meetings between categories in this help guide.
After navigating to your category using the schedule dashboard or series dashboard, change your category name by clicking the category heading or choosing rename from the action menunext to the category heading in the right panel. Press enter after you have finished typing to save the change.
You can change the name of the Meetings (default) category, however next time you are invited to a meeting, a new Meetings category will be created automatically for you.
A series or one-off meeting can be moved into a different category via the categoryicon under the meeting name in the right panel of the meeting details page.
Move the series to a new category by typing it in the list and pressing enter, or you can move the meeting to an existing category by clicking it.
All existing series and meetings, including archived series and meetings, must be moved to another category before it can be deleted.
Make sure you have no meetings including archived meetings.
When the category has only archived meetings, it will show the placeholder that says “There are only archived meetings in this category”. Then you can click the “show archvied” button and it’ll filter archived meeting to seek exsiting archived meeting for you.
Move the series to another category
To empty your category, you’ll be requried to move the series to a different category.
Refer to the Moving series between categories section in this help guide.
